(Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)The Clemson-Notre Dame matchup in the Cotton Bowl Classic of the College Football Playoff will be a battle of two talented undefeated teams.Clemson (13-0) breezed through the ACC en route to a fourth straight conference title. Notre Dame (12-0) had a schedule that presented more games against ranked opponents, but no 13th game.ESPN took a poll of 17 experts to see who would win the game, and the voting was rather one-sided.Only one of the 17 experts – Ryan McGee – picked Notre Dame to get the win over Clemson. The consensus seemed to be that Clemson’s offense will overwhelm or otherwise get away from Notre Dame’s. Every analyst picked Clemson to score at least 27 points.Notre Dame, on the other hand, only scored 27 points or more in three of the predictions. It may not be entirely fair to give Notre Dame such little credit on offense though. The Fighting Irish scored that many points in more than half of their games this season, and in four of their last five games.Clemson and Notre Dame are set to kick off at 4 p.m. E.T. on Saturday. The game will be on ESPN.last_img
