Mesut Ozil does not deserve to be in German team, says Bayern Munich boss

first_imgBayern president Uli Hoeness has blasted Mesut Ozil after he announced his decision to not represent the German national team anymore on Sunday.Hoeness, 66, tore into the 2014 World Cup winner, saying that he has been in horrendous form since 2014 and all this is being done to hide his lacklustre performances.”He had been playing s*** for years. He last won a tackle before the 2014 World Cup. His 35 million followers (on social media) – that don’t exist in real world – are convinced he has played sublimely when he completes a cross pass.”Hoeness also went a step further and said that the state of the country in terms of youngsters coming through the ranks is catastrophic and it has been a while since when Ozil deserved to play for the Germans.”The development in our country is a catastrophe. You have to go back to what it is: sport.
