Washington Sundar, at 18 years and 69 days, has been handed an India debut. The Chennai off-spinner also made his maiden appearance in the IPL where he replaced the seasoned R Ashwin in the Rising Pune Supergiant.Sundar, who had initially started off as a batsman switched over to off-spin and made his mark in underage cricket. He featured in the 2016 U-19 World Cup and was earmarked for the higher level immediately.For RPS, Sundar picked eight wickets from 11 matches at an economy of 6.16.
