The Gujarat Cricket Association has filed a complaint with the BCCI against Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting for smashing an LCD in the dressing room in a fit of anger. The GCA had earlier hit out at Ponting’s actions, asking the ICC to take strict action against him. Ponting vented out his anger at the television after he was run out against Zimbabwe for 28 runs after a direct hit from Chris Mpofu in the World Cup Group A match on Monday. GCA secretary Rajesh Patel confirmed the incident to Headlines Today.In fact, the LCD screen has been completely damaged and it seems like the GCA will ask Cricket Australia to reimburse them for the damages.
