Gardai catch Donegal motorist speeding at 137kph

first_imgGardai of the Letterkenny Traffic Unit stopped a driver travelling at extreme speeds of 137km/hr.The vehicle (pictured above) was detected last night on the N13 Letterkenny/ Derry Rd, which is a 100kph zone.Four speeding offences were detected at the speed checkpoint on the busy road and gardai have issued the offenders with fines. Elsewhere in Buncrana, gardai have seized a car which was in breach of multiple regulations in the Road Traffic Act.A learner driver was caught behind the wheel of a black Ford car without L plates or insurance.The driver was fined and will now face a court summons.Car seized by Buncrana Gardaí.
