Charlton sign former Wolves defender Johnson on short-term deal

first_img Roger Johnson Charlton have signed Roger Johnson on a permanent deal until the end of the season.Johnson became a free agent after he agreed to cancel his contract with Championship club Wolves this week.The 31-year-old has a wealth of experience during his time at Birmingham and most recently West Ham, where he spent a brief spell on loan last season.Johnson becomes the sixth new arrival at the south London club in 2015 following the signings of Neil Etheridge, Marko Dmitrovi?, Tony Watt, Christophe Lepoint and Milos Veljkovi?.He joins an Addicks side without a win in their last eleven Championship games, a run of form which has left them just six points above the relegation places. 1last_img
