Tweet this comment Cancel Submit Comment Subscribe to None Replies All new comments by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — As you know, William Staley, senior at WHS, is in a competition for one of 25 scholarships for 100 percent tuition paid to attend Tulsa Welding School.  He is currently in 24th place.This is the first year for this scholarship competition.  These scholarships are being offered to high school seniors by Tulsa Welding School and the Mike Rowe WORKS Foundation.  Mike Rowe is the host of the Discovery Channel’s  Dirty Jobs and is encouraging students to get technical training.William Staley, the son of Ed and Nancy Staley, posted a video produced by Wellington Vocational Agriculture instructor Linda Chase at the high school.  This is the link to the Facebook site:https://www.facebook.com/tulsaweldingschool/app_486254294756872.  Readers need to get on Facebook and vote for Staley.
